About the Fund
On November 5, 2024, Travis County voters approved a tax rate increase of 2.5 cents per $100 property valuation to create a dedicated fund for child care, afterschool, and summer programs. This initiative, known as the Child Care and Out-of-School Time (OST) Fund, is a major step toward expanding access to high-quality, affordable programs for families across our community.
