Pay in Full
Settle your property tax bill in one payment before the January 31 deadline.
Prepay any amount you choose. If you want the prepayment to cover next year in full, use your current year total as an estimate. Slight over- or under-payment carries over to the next bill; no penalty for either direction.
Every method available for a current-year payment (online, in person, mail, phone, EFT, drop box) is available for a prepayment. Online is fastest for a same-day confirmation.
Include a note ("Prepayment for [tax year]") on the mail-in slip or in the online form comment field. This lets the Tax Office apply the payment to the correct year on account.
Save the receipt or confirmation number. Prepayments show as a credit on your next annual statement. If a prepayment does not appear on your October statement, contact the Tax Office with the confirmation number.
